5.8p – Blencowe Resources has appointed current COO Iain Wearing as Interim CEO effective immediately. We regard Mr Wearing as a ‘safe pair of hands’, with this non-board appointment providing continuity across the 100%-owned Orom-Cross project’s technical, operational and funding workstreams while the Board searches for a permanent CEO. Mr Wearing has led the technical and operational development of the project through the Definitive Feasibility Study (DFS) process and has personally invested c£0.5m of his own cash in Blencowe and the development of Orom-Cross.
